Everybody loves sausages !!

Stop paying for water and flour and goodness knows what else is in the sausages we buy from the supermarket. Wouldn't it be great to know exactly what you were eating?

With the Hi Mountain sausage cures and seasonings you can make your own mouth watering sausages, sandwich meats and bacon. We recommend that you use the best quality mince you can afford or make your own mince to acheive the best results.

No need for Sausage recipes that leave you with lots of different herbs and spices that will go stale by the time you use them again. Our Sausage recipe mixes are blended perfectly so you get a perfect sausage with no guesswork. Imagine making your own Hot Dogs or Kransky sausages, even Kabana.

 

JUST RELEASED!! a new range of Easy Make seasoning kits that are intended for making sausages that will be refrigerated or frozen for eating later. These packs are in a handy zip lock top sachet that will make up to 2kg's of sausages. The flavours include Cevapcici (Cevap), Hickory, German & Italian. These are for a limited time only but if they are popular we will add them to the range and continue to bring in new flavours.

 

You can make 3 different styles of sausage

Skinless (Breakfast sausage & Cevap )

Sausage in skins (Breakfast / Bratwurst / Polish etc)

Sandwich meat like Salami etc (Summer Sausage)

A simple process of:

1. measuring your meat and adding the required amount of cure, seasoning & water, (no cure needed for sausages that will be cooked and eaten or frozen)

2. let it sit overnight

3. for sausages that will be skinless you simply form the desired shape and size and then refrigerate or freeze. For sausages with skins you simply use the Link Master or a mincer with a sausage filling attachment (the meat is not minced prior to seasoning if using a mincer). For the sandwich meats you fill the skin with the mix, tie off the end and then dry in the oven at a low temperature.

All instructions are supplied and if you loose them they will be available on this website.

And dont think that you have to use just the seasonings provided either, you can add anything to the mix that you enjoy ie: garlic, chilli or cheese. You are only limited by your imagination.

One box of seasoning will make from 10-13kg of sausage meat (depends on style).
